Wow! Where do I even start? Well, first of all, the big news is that Josh and I are buying our first home! It's in the Westhaven Park neighborhood of Portsmouth. We got a fantastic deal on the house! It's small but packed with personality. At present, it needs a LOT of cleaning on the inside. But nothing a Dyson vacuum, some new carpet, and a few cans of paint can't handle. Josh and I already have big plans for this house. I'll let you know more when I can get some good pictures of the house.
As for now, I'll show you our very first furniture!! I bought both of these pieces at thrift stores today. The first is a bright orange arm chair. The ticket price was $59, but thanks to my dad's smooth talking, we got it for $45!
The second piece is a cute little coffee table. It needs to be sanded and stained, but it was a steal at $20!
