Hey! Thanks for stopping by to check out the progress we're making on our very first home! Josh and I are so excited, and we want to share all the details with our friends and family who don't live close enough to pop in and see how we're doing. Our First Home

Wow! Where do I even start? Well, first of all, the big news is that Josh and I are buying our first home! It's in the Westhaven Park neighborhood of Portsmouth. We got a fantastic deal on the house! It's small but packed with personality. At present, it needs a LOT of cleaning on the inside. But nothing a Dyson vacuum, some new carpet, and a few cans of paint can't handle. Josh and I already have big plans for this house. I'll let you know more when I can get some good pictures of the house.

As for now, I'll show you our very first furniture!! I bought both of these pieces at thrift stores today. The first is a bright orange arm chair. The ticket price was $59, but thanks to my dad's smooth talking, we got it for $45!
The second piece is a cute little coffee table. It needs to be sanded and stained, but it was a steal at $20!Stay tuned for many more pictures! Oh btw, you can see all of our photos by clicking the photo slideshow link at the top of the page! :D
